PTFE Star Tubing... Does it really enhance performance?

I bought some Star shaped PTFE tubing from amazon for the P2S printers to see how it compares to standard PTFE 2mm ID tubing.

The star shape on the inside diameter says "reduced friction for filament to glide better through the tube"

I have been running this on my P2S printers for the past few months and have noticed a bit of a better performance when changing filaments however I found that using it only for the tubing from the AMS didn't do much of a difference and to get the optimal configuration it would be best to replace all the filament tubing from the AMS to the buffer and the buffer to the print head

Doing this I did find that the filament loaded slightly quicker with reduced friction which was a bonus!
